Workflow by workflow

A factual comparison, not a winner badge

Twifly currently organizes 13 product workflows across audience growth, engagement, publishing, and direct messages. Competitor descriptions below come from the official sources listed on this page.

WorkflowTwiflyTweet Hunter
Platform focusAlso X-only, so the real question is not which network but which shape: named, configured campaigns you launch and audit, rather than a set of always-on growth features. An all-in-one X growth product for content, scheduling, CRM workflows, automation, and analytics.
PublishingPosts, threads, exact times and a recurring queue, with Post Scheduler, RSS AutoPost, AI Writer. RSS automatically schedules matching feed items using your settings. No viral-post library and no evergreen recycling.Posts, threads, media, drafts, a one-click queue, best-time suggestions, evergreen reposts, and thread delays.
Audience discoveryMirror Follow, Keyword Hunter, Smart Unfollow treat discovery as a running campaign with a daily ceiling and an unfollow policy, rather than as lists you build and then work through by hand.Lead Finder, lists based on interactions, imported accounts and X lists, and keyword- or people-focused CRM views.
Engagement workflowsSmart Reply, Rival Intercept, Keyword Engage, Influence Boost use configured triggers, templates, optional sentiment filters and exclusions. Sentiment classification can misread context; review settings and activity regularly.A focused engagement inbox for people and keywords, with reply assistance and contact notes.
Direct messagesAuto DM, Bulk Outreach, DM Sequence plus a DM inbox, with a separate monthly allowance for manual sends and stop-on-reply behaviour.Interaction-based Auto DM is listed among Tweet Hunter's scheduling and automation features.
Workflow controlsThis is the clearest split between the two. Twifly sets an explicit daily ceiling for each action type, plus run days, run hours and pre-run audience filters — the official Tweet Hunter page does not describe equivalent per-action caps.Queue timing, thread delay, auto-plug, evergreen repost, and clean-profile settings; the official page does not describe Twifly-style per-action daily caps.
ReportingThe per-post metric family is here too — impressions, engagements, profile visits, link clicks, bookmarks, quotes — but scoped to what Twifly published or replied to, not your whole back catalogue. What has no equivalent on the other side is the campaign view: which candidates were filtered out, and what share of the follows came back.Key metrics, top tweets, follower growth, detailed tweet analytics, sorting, and optional public statistics.
Account supportSeveral X accounts, each with isolated campaigns, queue, schedule and ceilings, and an activity log that records which account did what. The official product page advertises multiple X accounts and ghostwriting for clients from one account.

Questions

Before you choose

Both tools are X-only — what actually differs?

The unit of work. Tweet Hunter gives you features you operate: a lead finder, an engagement inbox, a viral-post library. Twifly gives you campaigns you configure and then leave running under a ceiling. If you enjoy working an inbox daily, Tweet Hunter suits that. If you want to set a policy on Sunday and read the log on Friday, that is the case for Twifly.

Does Twifly have a viral-post library or AI writing?

There is an AI Writer for drafting angles when the queue runs dry, but no library of other people's high-performing posts to adapt. If content inspiration is the reason you were looking at Tweet Hunter, Twifly will not replace it.

Which is safer to run at volume?

Twifly is more explicit about it: every action type has its own daily cap, plus run days, run hours and filters that apply before anything executes, and the activity log shows what was skipped as well as what ran. The official Tweet Hunter page does not document equivalent per-action ceilings. Neither product can promise an outcome — X's rules apply to you regardless of the tool.

Are the competitor prices shown here?

No. Tweet Hunter's pricing changes and we would rather link you to the source than quote a number that goes stale. Twifly's own plan figures on the pricing page are read live from its plan configuration.
